Make a quiz from a photo

A quiz from a photo takes about twenty seconds: point your camera at a textbook page, a whiteboard, or your handwritten notes, and Quizzer reads the image and writes a multiple-choice practice quiz from it.

The study material is already around you

Whiteboards at the end of class. The one textbook page everyone photographs instead of photocopying. A friend’s notes. A worksheet your teacher handed out. If you can photograph it, you can practice on it — no retyping, no scanning apps, no upload from a computer.

Works on real-world pages, not just perfect scans

Quizzer reads the photo with AI vision and handles standard textbook layouts, slide photos, and most handwriting. If a shot comes out blurry, retake it — clear photos make clearly worded questions.

Try a sample quiz

Photograph a chemistry whiteboard like this one and you get a quiz like this — try answering:

  1. 1. What is the molar mass of carbon dioxide (CO₂)?

    • A. 22.0 g/mol
    • B. 28.0 g/mol
    • C. 44.0 g/mol
    • D. 46.0 g/mol
  2. 2. Balance the reaction: __ H₂ + O₂ → __ H₂O. The missing coefficients are:

    • A. 1 and 1
    • B. 2 and 1
    • C. 1 and 2
    • D. 2 and 2
  3. 3. A solution with pH 3 is how many times more acidic than one with pH 5?

    • A. 2 times
    • B. 10 times
    • C. 100 times
    • D. 1,000 times

How it works

  1. Open Quizzer and choose camera input — grant the permission once.
  2. Frame the page, whiteboard, or notes and take the photo.
  3. Pick your question count, take the quiz, and review the explanation for anything you missed.

Frequently asked questions

Can it read handwriting?
Usually, yes — most pen-on-paper notes read fine. If the generated questions contain something you never wrote, the photo was probably unclear; retake it in better light.
Can I photograph several pages and quiz all of them?
One clear photo per generation works best. For a longer set, generate a quiz from the key pages one at a time — or type/paste the content instead.
Does the camera mode cost anything?
You can try it free. Unlimited quiz generation requires Pro — $7.99 per week or a one-time $39.99 lifetime purchase.
Do my photos get shared?
Your photo is used to generate your quiz. Quizzer doesn’t require an account, and your photos aren’t published anywhere.
